Sarah Watson – Deputy CEO and Secondary Education lead

Sarah is the Deputy CEO and Secondary Education lead for the Trust and works with the headteachers of the secondary schools within the Trust and with schools receiving support. Sarah became the Headteacher at The Castle School in 2010 and was also the CEO of The Castle Partnership Trust for ten years prior to the merger with BEP.  Sarah is also serving Ofsted inspector.

Sarah started her career at John Kitto Community College (now All Saints Academy Plymouth), then moved as second in charge of English to Coombe Dean School in Plymouth where she was quickly promoted to Head of English and then Assistant Head for Post 16 and subsequently was put in charge of the Pastoral system. She then moved to Huish Episcopi as Deputy Head for Curriculum and set up the Post 16 provision before becoming Headteacher at The Castle School.
